The first official song released off the highly anticipated score is a song titled Radagast the Brown, and it is supposedly going to be used as aid for the introduction into the movie, of the wizard who coincidentally (or, evidently no) bares the same name as the song.

“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” is the first of a new trilogy, and, as you may already know by now, it brings back some of our favorite LOTR characters. So far, Howard Shore is scoring the first installment, which is set for world wide release on December 14th, 2012. Although it may seem similar to the soundtrack of the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, the score seems to have plenty of surprising elements. Listen to a preview of the soundtrack below, in the form of a few songs which have been confirmed as officially part of the soundtrack.
