The historical drama “Zero Dark Thirty” is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2012, and so is the original score composed for it by the well renown Alexandre Desplat. But this film is not Alexandre’s only major movie this year, the composer has also contributed to “Moonrise Kingdom”, “Rust and Bone”, “Reality”, “A Therapy”, “Renoir”, “Argo” and “Rise of the Guardians”.

When asked about the score he composed, Alexandre Desplat declared that:

It is actually an orchestral score. In the film you have to be inside the battle and inside the warriors’ heads and the head of the warrior played by Jessica Chastain. That is what my score is following – her character, her chase, her personality
